Do I use the Bejeweler and hot fix swarovski crystals?

I am going to apply swarovski crystals to my daughters shoes. Im just unaware of what type of swarovski crystals to use...and if I even use the Bejeweler tool? Im new to this.
Some crystals say they are for clothing but dont specify if I can use them on shoes and what not.
So how do I apply? And what do I use? Thanks

Hi, we manufacture the BeJeweler. You need to use Swarovski hot fix crystals for the best adhesion and appearance. There is a link below (I hope) that gives directions and a video you can also watch. It's an easy process and lots of fun. The hot fix crystals work best on porous surfaces like fabric, suede, paper, wood, etc but they usually stick on nearly any item. When I do leather or a hard surface, I use sand paper or the point of a finger nail file to "rough" up the surface before adding the crystals. That gives the glue on the back of the crystal a textured surface so it can sink in and hold. Usually you want to use a 3mm (10ss) on shoes. You can put about 9 crystals per inch so that may help you decide how many to use. Just make sure you use the correct size tip on the tool and BeJeweler away. It's fun and easy. Enjoy!

PS - crystals and other small embellishments are not recommended for use on items for children under 13.
