Reagan Hayhurst teaches participants first-hand how to create
wearable works of art. From conception to design to the actual stringing of the beads, this is a
workshop that delights both young and old. Participants learn simple beading techniques and use wire, beads and semi-precious stones to craft one-of-a-kind beaded
necklaces. Both the necklaces and the skills learned in class are theirs to keep for a lifetime of enjoyment.

Approach:
With a contagious sense of fun and creativity, Reagan leads participants
through the design and creation of unique beaded necklaces.
Students will be shown simple beading techniques such as stringing, wire
bending and crimping. Plenty of time and hands on instruction will
be given to students as they use silver wire, tiger beading wire, beads
and semi-precious stones to fashion necklaces to take home. All
supplies are provided and will be appropriate to the age of the
participants. This class is popular with both males and females.

Reagan Hayhurst has been beading for over 9 years, crafting jewelry of
simple elegance. She also crafts fine sterling silver and gold
cast pieces under the watchful eye of her teacher, Sister Regina
Kiel. Designer of one-of-a-kind pieces, Ms. Hayhurst's work is in great demand in this area.
Reagan is the manager of Utopia Spa and Wellness in Clarks Summit.
