About
the Presenter:
Ron and Kim Whipple have been entertaining audiences together for over
20 years. These entrepreneurs started out operating two movie
theaters and moved on to owning their own video rental store, dance
studio business, performing dance company and thriving local community
theater group. Ron, a typical movie buff, was a hit with video
customers looking for that rare movie. Having managed the
entertainment for a prosperous nightclub and golf resort, he quickly
learned what audiences were hungry for. Keeping this in mind, he
has kept dinner theater audiences coming back for more as he directs and
produces hit after hit for the local theater troupe he has founded - The
Wyoming County Players.
Kim, director of The Whipple Dance Company, has
danced off-Broadway and choreographed and performed for television,
video and various corporate events. She has written original
productions and combined students under her tutelage with professionals
from New York City to provide programs with a level of comedy and high
dance energy in the forefront. Kim and Ron reside in Tunkhannock,
PA..
