deMaye-Caruth will open your mind to the
world of energy medicine. Private practitioners
who have studied this art are offering many of
these therapies not only in hospitals but
physician offices, clinics and various other
health care settings. Gain an overview of the
more popular therapies that are classified by
the National Institute of Health as energy
therapies or biofield medicine. It will include

Presenter's
Approach:
Dr. deMaye-Caruth will introduce
the various therapies that are offered in hospitals, clinics and private
offices, including explanations of the differences in each therapy,
their application to the human energy field, what results can be
expected, what research has been or is in the process of being
conducted, and how these therapies are offered in health care
settings. She will also detail the qualities necessary to become a
practitioner as well as provide assistance to those wishing to pursue
qualifications in energy therapy.
Working
with physicians, patients and clients, Dr. deMaye-Caruth has been a
practitioner of energy therapies for 28 years and has published various
articles on the topic. She founded the Minerva Educational Center
to educate and inform all who wish to learn these and other
complimentary medicines and holistic therapies.

About
the Presenter:
Dr. deMaye –Caruth is Registered Nurse, holds a Master
Degree in Education as well as a PhD in Holistic Health.
She is the owner and director of the Minerva Educational
Center, a center devoted to the study and experience of
healing. For this presentation, Dr. deMaye-Caruth draws
upon 35 combined years of experience including critical
care nursing, years as an emergency room, critical care,
and post-anesthesia care instructor, and also her
service as a complimentary medicine practitioner and
lecturer.
A Certified
Clinical Aromatherapist, Certified Healing Touch
Practitioner, and Reiki Master Teacher, Dr.
deMaye-Caruth has a private practice working with
clients who have been diagnosed with cancer; some of
whom are receiving chemotherapy and/or radiation.
Prescription drugs alone are not always the solution. It
has been proven when mind body and spirit work as one,
significant improvement and self esteem and health have
been the motivating factor in alternative therapies. She
also works with clients who have stress related
conditions pain or chronic illness.
