A Registered Nurse with a Masters Degree in Education and a Ph.D. in Holistic Health, Dr. deMaye-Caruth is also a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher and Certified Clinical Aromatherapist. She draws upon 35 years of combined experience in traditional medicine, complimentary medicine and teaching to bring you this phenomenal course which will open your eyes to a new way to view medicine.

Logistical Factors:
Hosting organization must provide the following:

• a podium or lectern, small table and a chair for the speaker
• a large table for demonstrations of tools
• ample room for audience seating
• overhead projector and screen
• music system and an AC outlet
• a lavaliere microphone for large groups

About the Presenter:
Dr. deMaye –Caruth is Registered Nurse, holds a Master Degree in Education as well as a PhD in Holistic Health.  She is the owner and director of the Minerva Educational Center, a center devoted to the study and experience of healing.  For this presentation, Dr. deMaye-Caruth draws upon 35 combined years of experience including critical care nursing, years as an emergency room, critical care, and post-anesthesia care instructor, and also her service as a complimentary medicine practitioner and lecturer.

A Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, and Reiki Master Teacher, Dr. deMaye-Caruth has a private practice working with clients who have been diagnosed with cancer; some of whom are receiving chemotherapy and/or radiation. Prescription drugs alone are not always the solution. It has been proven when mind body and spirit work as one, significant improvement  and self esteem and health have been the motivating factor in alternative therapies. She also works with clients who have stress related conditions pain or chronic illness.

• Presented programs on Holistic Health for the United States Army, Marywood University, Nursing Department, College Misericordia, Community General Hospital, Moses Taylor Hospital, Wayne Memorial and Mercy Hospital
