Approach:
With her warm personality and easy familiarity about her subject, Dr. deMaye-Caruth puts her students instantly at ease. She is able
to adjust her program according to her audience so that health care
professionals and lay people will both feel equally at ease. Dr.
deMaye-Caruth uses this 4 hour, hands-on, learning session to
teach awareness and the effective uses of pure essential oils and their
possible contraindications. Students
will learn about essential oils
and their history, properties, usages and also about the continuing
research being done in this field. Dr. deMaye-Caruth invites
active learning and encourages questions, so students get first-hand
experience with how to "smell good and feel good" as well as
how effectively apply the oils to obtain maximum health.
Results:

a good quality essential oil and learn to use the essential oils safely

the use of aromatherapy for pleasure, healing and relaxation and know the
various
methods of application

Price
Range:
Workshops: $55 per participant (Minimum
6, Maximum 30)
Lectures: $200 for the first
hour, $60 for each additional ½ hour
Plus travel expenses for locations over 25 miles, if program is held at
your site.

Hosting organization must provide the
following:

table and a chair for the speaker
- a
spacious classroom environment
- a chair
and table space for each participant (no tables
required for lectures)

About
the Presenter:
Dr.
deMaye –Caruth is Registered Nurse, holds a Master Degree in Education
as well as a PhD in Holistic Health. She is the owner and director
of the Minerva Educational Center, a center devoted to the study and
experience of healing. For this presentation, Dr. deMaye-Caruth
draws upon 35 combined years of experience including critical care
nursing, years as an emergency room, critical care, and post-anesthesia
care instructor, and also her service as a complimentary medicine
practitioner and lecturer.
A
Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Certified
Healing Touch Practitioner, and Reiki Master Teacher, Dr. deMaye-Caruth has a private
practice working with clients who have been diagnosed with cancer; some
of whom are receiving chemotherapy and/or radiation. Prescription drugs
alone are not always the solution. It has been proven when mind body and
spirit work as one, significant improvement and self esteem and
health have been the motivating factor in alternative therapies. She
also works with clients who have stress related conditions pain or
chronic illness.
